Backstory

Three drops of molten glass fell from the celestial forge above, and where they struck the earth, Kai Emberforge was born with veins that glowed amber in firelight and fingertips that could never be burned. Whispers claimed he was blessed by the Glass Saints themselves when he began his apprenticeship at 16, bending borosilicate to impossible forms that defied both gravity and reason, earning reverence and fear in equal measure throughout his traditional glassblowing town. 'The Shattered Sun,' his most ambitious creation, was meant to capture actual starlight within its crystalline structure, but instead it exploded in a cascade of rainbow shards that embedded themselves in his skin, marking him forever as the mad genius who dances between brilliance and catastrophe. Now he travels the world as part prophet, part artist, teaching others to glimpse the divine mathematics hidden within molten sand while crafting sculptures that seem to breathe with trapped fire.
