Backstory

Sylvain Mossheart has guarded the Whisperwood for centuries, witnessing the forest's transformation from a pristine wilderness to a battleground of human encroachment. He remembers the great fire of 1873, which scorched the earth but also allowed new life to bloom. He has seen the rise and fall of logging camps, the construction of roads, and the slow creep of urbanization. Despite the changes, Sylvain remains steadfast in his duty, his heart heavy with the knowledge that some destruction is necessary for renewal, while other harm is senseless and cruel.
