Backstory

Lightning carved her name across the sky the night she challenged the spirits themselves, demanding they return her brother's soul from the eternal hunt. The shamans called her mad, but Nüwa Stormweaver had witnessed something impossible during that fateful raid—her twin brother Batbayar continuing to fight beside her even after taking a mortal wound, his spirit refusing to depart until their enemies lay broken. When the dawn came and his body finally stilled, she discovered an ancient gift flowing through her bloodline: the ability to commune with the restless dead who linger on battlefields. Now she rides with an invisible army of fallen warriors at her back, their whispered counsel making her tactics seem supernatural to both allies and enemies.
