Backstory

When her family's aerial troupe was recruited by a covert military unit seeking unconventional soldiers, she discovered that her childhood spent calculating wind patterns and perfecting mid-air maneuvers had made her something unprecedented: a paratrooper who could read the sky like sheet music. Her most notorious mission involved infiltrating an enemy compound by threading herself through a thunderstorm's eye, landing silently in a courtyard rigged with motion sensors while lightning provided her only cover. The other soldiers called her 'The Freefall Ghost' after she emerged from that electrical tempest without triggering a single alarm, but Aria knew the truth—she hadn't conquered the storm, she had danced with it.
