Backstory

Determined to expose the corruption that killed him, Lucia began infiltrating underground fighting rings where dirty cops and mob enforcers gathered to bet and boast. Her first real victory came not from her fists, but from recording a confession that sent six corrupt officers to prison—though it also painted a target on her back. The 'Guardian Angels' formed around her kitchen table that same night, as neighbors who'd lost loved ones to the same conspiracy pledged to help her turn the city's own violent underworld against itself.
