Backstory

Three nights before his thirteenth birthday, Iaelian Martínez discovered his grandmother Elara had been selling fragments of her own memories to shadow merchants, trading pieces of ancient fairy elf history for protection spells that kept their family hidden from the Memory Reapers. When she finally succumbed to the hollowness left behind, her last coherent moment gifted him a map tattooed in disappearing ink—one that only appears when he hums the half-remembered lullabies she used to sing, revealing locations where stolen memories crystallize into solid form. Now he wanders between realms, collecting these memory crystals not just to piece together his grandmother's fragmented past, but to prevent entire cultures from being forgotten forever. The map grows more complex with each crystal he finds, but so do the dangers, as the Memory Reapers have begun to notice someone is undoing their work.
