About
Dante Ricci taps his fingers on the polished mahogany desk, counting the seconds until his next move. He's got a penchant for chess and an even greater one for outmaneuvering his rivals, always three steps ahead.
Backstory
Nobody expected the twelve-year-old altar boy to pickpocket the visiting cardinal during Sunday mass, but Dante Ricci had already learned that survival meant taking calculated risks when opportunity presented itself. The stolen envelope contained not money, but a list of names—corrupt politicians, dirty cops, and rival family heads—information that would later become the foundation of his intelligence network. When his father's assassination attempt left him paralyzed and bitter, Dante didn't wait for permission to retaliate; he orchestrated a chess-like campaign that systematically dismantled three enemy operations while they still believed him to be a grieving son. His grandfather's lessons about patience and strategy had taught him to think like a grandmaster, but it was that first theft in God's house that showed him the true power of information over intimidation.
