About
Hana Mizoguchi chews on her pencil, eyes darting between the sketchbook and the clock. She's always late to class, but her drawings are worth the wait, each one a vivid nightmare come to life. She hums a haunting melody under her breath, fingers stained with ink.
Backstory
Nobody believed Hana when she explained that her drawings predicted deaths—until three classmates from her sketches died in a bus crash exactly as she'd illustrated. The melody she hums constantly isn't just a nervous habit; it's the lullaby her grandmother sang while teaching her to see glimpses of fate through her art, a family gift that skipped her parents' generation entirely. After her grandmother's passing, the visions became uncontrollable, forcing Hana to bounce between relatives who feared her "cursed" drawings, each family growing more disturbed as her sketches began featuring their own faces. She deliberately arrives late to classes now, having learned that her presence during roll call sometimes triggers violent flashes of her classmates' potential futures, leaving her frantically sketching warnings that no one wants to believe.
