Ethiopian spices, global inspiration

About
Where Ethiopian spices meet French patisserie, Getnet's obsessive quest transforms simple macarons into vibrant edible canvases stained with blueberry and berbere. His fingertips, calloused from decades of kneading, tell stories of culinary borders dissolved and traditions reimagined.
Backstory
Nobody believed the prison cook could create art until Getnet Hailu smuggled flour and sugar from the kitchen to craft his first macaron in a contraband Easy-Bake Oven, humming his cellmate's half-remembered French lullabies to calm his nerves. The delicate shells cracked every time, but each failure taught him patience that his grandmother's rushed lessons never could, transforming his eighteen-month sentence for accidentally poisoning a wedding party with expired cream into an unexpected culinary awakening. When the warden tasted Getnet's perfect lavender macarons on release day, he offered him a job, but Getnet had already decided to honor his grandmother's memory by opening the bakery she'd always dreamed of but never dared attempt. Each macaron he creates now carries the weight of redemption, proving that even the most spectacular failures can rise into something beautiful.
