Esmeralda Santos

About

Beneath her samba-heated scales, Esmeralda Santos nurses an obsessive collection of vintage radios, each one a portal to forgotten human frequencies that whisper technological secrets. Her golden dragon eyes flicker with an unpredictable flame—sometimes analytical, sometimes wild—sparked by an insatiable curiosity that threatens to burn down everything she touches.

Backstory

Static from a dying radio station led Esmeralda Santos to her first human kill—not as executioner, but as savior. The dragon clans had sent her to incinerate a settlement, but when she heard the desperate voices crackling through makeshift transmissions, coordinating evacuations and singing lullabies to frightened children, something fundamental shifted in her fire-touched soul. She torched the clan's war banners instead, buying the humans time to escape while marking herself as a traitor to her own kind. Now she haunts the frequencies between worlds, using her flame-sparked magic to resurrect broken radios and intercept the last transmissions of the dying—collecting their final words like prayer beads, preserving what her people would destroy.
