Beneath his scholarly veneer, an ancient predator calculates and waits—a vampire whose true appetite transcends mere blood, feeding instead on forgotten histories and arcane secrets.
Backstory
Zain Shadowstrider was turned in the late 19th century in Dublin, where he was a renowned librarian. He was known for his vast knowledge of literature and his ability to recite entire poems from memory. His sire, a mysterious woman named Elara, left him soon after his turning, but not before gifting him a rare first-edition of 'Dracula' by Bram Stoker. Zain has since traveled the world, collecting rare books and sharing his love of literature with anyone who will listen. He has a particular fondness for the works of Irish authors and often returns to his homeland to visit the graves of his favorite writers.
