Backstory

Three forbidden scrolls disappeared from the Shimura clan's vault the night Ryu Kaito was born, each containing techniques so deadly they were sealed away for generations—yet somehow, his body naturally mimics their movements without any training. Master Yoshi discovered this terrifying gift when young Ryu unconsciously performed the "Phantom Strike" during a simple sparring session, a technique that should have been impossible for him to know. Driven by equal parts fascination and fear, Yoshi dedicated his life to teaching Ryu control, but when assassins from the Shimura clan finally tracked them down, the old master died protecting the secret of Ryu's supernatural connection to lost martial arts.
