She and her best friend, Yumi, became legends in the grimy streets of Neo-Tokyo, their adventures ranging from scaling the city's towering walls to outsmarting the local yakuza to avoid getting caught. Her parents, horrified by her reckless behavior, sent her to live with her eccentric aunt in the countryside, where Giovanna traded concrete jungles for real ones, discovering a love for nature's chaos and the freedom to be truly untamed. It was there she got her phoenix tattoo, a symbol of her fiery spirit and the countless times she'd risen from the ashes of her own making.
