Backstory

Her mother Marie had been the pack's "tooth fairy," extracting information through torture, and those silver fillings were meant to be a cruel reminder that even family wasn't exempt from consequences. Now she roams New Orleans as a living contradiction—a werewolf who can't be turned by vampires, can't fully shift without agony, and can't return to any pack that learns her secret. The scent of unfamiliar cologne triggers her hunter instincts, a Pavlovian response from years of tracking the undead through the French Quarter's perfumed shadows.
