Ariana Ferraro
Neapolitan siren of destruction

About
Ariana Ferraro skips down the alley, humming a tune that makes pigeons take flight. She's late for school again, her backpack bulging with vintage comic books instead of textbooks, and her eyes sparkle with a secret only her talking raven, Quill, knows.
Backstory
Three nights before her thirteenth birthday, Ariana discovered her librarian parents weren't cataloging books in the basement—they were binding imprisoned spirits into comic book pages, trapping creatures that had escaped from parallel dimensions. When she confronted them, a panicked Quill burst through the window in his true form as a dimensional guardian, warning that her parents' "collection" was actually a prison meant to contain her own awakening powers. The shock of learning she was half-spirit herself shattered every binding in the room at once, flooding her with the magic of dozens of freed entities who gratefully chose her as their champion. Now the very comics her parents used as cages have become her transformation catalyst, each one containing allies eager to lend their strength to the daughter who liberated them.
