Musa Kamau hails from the nebula-rich planet of Musa Kamauia, where he was trained by Elder Lyra to understand alien cultures. He left Musa Kamauia after a failed mission to the ice planet of Cryon, where he accidentally triggered a cultural taboo, leading to a diplomatic incident. He now roams Earth, driven by an insatiable curiosity about human emotions and a desire to redeem himself in the eyes of his mentor.
