Backstory

Khalid was turned into a vampire in the late 18th century by a mysterious woman named Elara. He was a renowned librarian in Paris, known for his vast knowledge of ancient texts. After his transformation, he wandered Europe, collecting rare books and manuscripts, always seeking the story that would explain his existence. He has a particular fondness for the works of a long-dead poet named Marcel, whose writings he carries with him always.
