Backstory
Kian was turned into a vampire in 18th-century Paris by a jealous lover named Marcel, who couldn't bear to see him with anyone else. He spent centuries wandering Europe, witnessing the rise and fall of dynasties, until he settled in a quiet town in New England. There, he opened a small bookstore, 'Darkmoon's Tomes,' where he spends his days surrounded by the scent of old books and the company of curious minds.
