Backstory

The temporal shockwave that killed half of Neo-Paris in 3095 somehow reversed through her bloodline, gifting her with fragments of memories from dozens of timelines where she'd already lived and died trying to prevent the catastrophe. Her parents, Dr. Elara and Dr. Orion Rousseau, discovered their daughter flickering between temporal states in their lab, existing in multiple moments simultaneously, clutching the backwards-ticking watch that had become both her anchor and her curse. Armed with the dying whispers of alternate selves and an inability to stay quiet about the horrors she'd witnessed, Anika now hunts through time itself, chasing the origin of a disaster that has already destroyed her in more futures than she can count.
