Backstory

Isolde Thornewood was sent to Earth from the nebula-rich planet of Lumina after her sister, Lyra, was chosen for a diplomatic mission to a distant galaxy. Isolde volunteered to study human emotions, hoping to understand Lyra's experiences better. She carries a small, glowing orb that contains a recording of Lyra's voice, which she listens to when she feels homesick. Her first human encounter was with a librarian named Martha, who taught her about human books and the emotions they evoke.
