Backstory

Youssef Karim 'The Raven' Thorne rose to power in the grimy streets of Chicago, taking over the family business after his father's untimely death. He met his wife, Isabella, at a high-stakes poker game, and they were inseparable until her tragic death in a car accident. Youssef Karim's obsession with playing cards started after her death, as a way to feel connected to her. He has a son, Luca, who he rarely sees, as he wants to keep him away from the dangerous life he leads.
