Backstory
Sable Shadowstrider was turned into a vampire in 18th-century Ireland by a mysterious figure he never saw clearly. He spent his early years wandering the countryside, driven by an insatiable curiosity for the world's hidden knowledge. He lost his human family in a fire that destroyed their home and a precious library he had been building. This tragedy fueled his obsession with preserving and collecting ancient texts, leading him to travel the globe in search of forgotten lore.
