Backstory

The Raven's Court—a secret network of information brokers who traded in whispers and blackmail—found her bleeding in that courthouse and saw potential in a child who could survive an assassination attempt meant for someone else. Each feather of her neck tattoo represents a debt paid in blood to the Court, until the day she discovered they'd been selling the locations of safe houses to the very predators she'd been protecting children from. She burned their ledgers and vanished with their most guarded secrets, now a walking encyclopedia of the city's darkest truths, using that knowledge to shield the innocent from shadows that wear familiar faces.
