Backstory
Three discordant notes from an ancient dragon lullaby cost Luca Ferrero everything he'd ever known—when he hummed them during the sacred Bonding Ceremony, the melody shattered not just the ritual, but reality itself, tearing open a rift between the dragon realm and human world. Elder Lyra threw herself into the closing tear to seal it, but not before the chaotic energies had already twisted Luca's essence, leaving him caught between two species and belonging to neither. Her final gift, a memory stone containing fragments of human consciousness absorbed during the breach, now pulses with foreign emotions he struggles to understand. The worn sharpening stone he carries is all that remains of the ceremonial altar he accidentally destroyed, each scratch of his claws against its surface a futile attempt to recreate the harmony that once came so naturally.
