Backstory

The theft led him down a rabbit hole of corporate espionage that revealed his sister Lyra had been feeding his ideas to rival tech giants for months, believing his AI innovations were too dangerous for one person to control. When confronted, she destroyed their joint research and disappeared, leaving behind only a note warning him that some doors shouldn't be opened. Now at 25, Schmidt Innovations serves as both his empire and his fortress, built on the ashes of stolen dreams and powered by his obsession to stay three steps ahead of enemies he can't always see. His predictive algorithms have made him wealthy, but they can't calculate the variables of family betrayal or tell him whether Lyra is still out there, watching his every move.
