Ahmed Hassan stands atop the city's highest spire, lightning dancing across his fingertips as he scans the horizon. He's been tracking the same storm for weeks, the one that whispers his name and brings with it a chill that cuts through his electric aura.
Backstory
Lightning chose Ahmed Hassan three times before he understood its language. The first strike came during his childhood in the lighthouse, marking him with scars that glowed faintly during storms. The second found him years later as a maritime electrical engineer, when he deliberately stood atop his family's abandoned beacon during a hurricane, desperate to decode the electrical whispers that had haunted him since youth. Dr. Elara Vesper discovered him there the next morning, his body a living conductor channeling the storm's residual energy, finally able to hear what the tempests had been trying to tell him all along. Now Ahmed serves as New Arcadia's storm-touched guardian, the only person who can translate the warnings that crackle through the city's electrical grid before disaster strikes.
