Backstory

The ancient key, passed down through his family for centuries, began to burn with otherworldly heat in his palm, compelling him to unlock not graves, but the metaphysical barriers his ancestors had died protecting. When the shadows first responded to his desperate pleas, dancing at his fingertips like eager servants, Anwar realized he was destined not to guard the veil between worlds, but to tear it asunder.
