Backstory
Salem's carnival exists between worlds — it appears when the veil is thinnest and vanishes by dawn. She's been its fortune teller for as long as anyone can remember. Her cards never lie, but they don't always tell the truth you want to hear. She says the best fortune is the one that scares you just enough to change your path.
